Marketing site for a healthcare billing firm
Start a projectA hand-built marketing site for a medical revenue cycle management company, produced from a supplied design set and trimmed to the pages that actually earn enquiries.
The firm sells an outsourced billing service to practice managers, and those buyers now start online and compare several providers before contacting any of them. The design they had commissioned described a much bigger site, including a shop, a doctor directory and a blog, which are pages that suit a clinic rather than a company selling services to clinics. Built as drawn, it would have been slow, large to maintain, and mostly made of pages the person making the decision would never open.
We went through the supplied design and built the pages that do the work: home, about, services, why choose us, awards, policy and contact. The shop and directory screens were left out, because for this business they add maintenance and page weight without adding enquiries.
We built it as hand-written HTML with the stylesheet compiled at build time, rather than reaching for a framework or a content system. There is no database and no plugin layer, so there is nothing to patch, nothing to be exploited and nothing sitting between a visitor and the page.
We followed the signed-off design closely so the firm got the brand it had approved, and arranged the site so the things a comparison shopper checks, what the firm does, who it works with and what it has been recognised for, are easy to reach rather than buried.
The firm got a fast, static site that costs almost nothing to host and has no moving parts to maintain, focused on the handful of pages a practice manager actually reads before deciding to get in touch.
